Shipping policy

Welcome to House of Brilliant Shades (“HBS”). We are committed to providing secure, reliable, and timely shipping for every order.

Domestic Shipping – United States

Orders for ready-to-ship products are generally processed and shipped within 3 business days after payment verification.

For verified payments received before 4:00 PM EST, orders may ship the same business day. Shipments are processed Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and holidays.

Shipping Time

Delivery Time = Processing Time + Shipping Time

Processing times vary depending on the product:

  • Ready-to-ship items: typically ship within 1-3 business days 
  • Custom, made-to-order, or preorder items: may require approximately 5-21 business days for production and preparation 

Estimated processing timelines are displayed on the individual product page or provided after preorder confirmation.

Once your order has shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email containing:

  • Tracking information 
  • Carrier details 
  • Estimated delivery date 

Free Shipping

HBS offers free domestic shipping on all qualifying orders over $99.

Shipping Carriers

All orders are carefully inspected, securely packaged, and shipped using trusted carriers such as UPS or FedEx.

Secure Delivery & Insurance

All HBS shipments are:

  • Fully insured 
  • Securely packaged 
  • Signature required upon delivery for security purposes 

HBS is not responsible for packages lost or stolen after confirmed delivery and signature acceptance.

United States Sales Tax

HBS is required by law to collect applicable sales tax, including taxes related to shipping and handling fees, based on the purchaser’s delivery address within the United States.

 

International Shipping

HBS proudly ships to customers in over 60 countries worldwide.

Customers are responsible for ensuring that purchased items can be legally imported into their destination country.

Customs, Duties & Taxes

International orders may be subject to:

  • Import duties 
  • Customs fees 
  • VAT or local taxes 
  • Collect on Delivery (COD) charges 

These charges are determined by the destination country and are the sole responsibility of the customer, even if the shipment is refused upon delivery.

Additional customs-related fees must be paid by the recipient when the package arrives.

Please note:

  • Customs procedures may occasionally cause delays 
  • Customs authorities may delay, inspect, or deny shipments 
  • HBS has no control over customs processing timelines or decisions 

To help minimize delays, we ship through reliable international carriers including UPS and FedEx.

Combined Shipments

Orders containing multiple items will generally be shipped together once all items are ready.

If you require split shipments or special shipping arrangements, please contact us before your order ships.

Incorrect Addresses

Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. HBS is not responsible for delays, losses, or additional shipping costs caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
